Billing is per word, so that we can determine the exact price for your project and you know exactly what to expect. However, there are various aspects that can also affect the pricing:
Complexity:
Technical or economic texts are usually complicated and may require more time due to research on the relevant topic.
File Format:
Ideally, you should deliver your text as a Word document. If this is not possible and I have to search and copy the texts (e.g. from a website), this takes extra time and effort. Thus there would be a small surcharge.
Urgency:
If your order is urgent, I am happy to work on it late in the evening or on the weekend to meet your deadline on time. This will also be reflected in the price.
As you can see, there are several factors involved in the pricing of a translation that need to be clarified in advance. To get a quotation, you are welcome to send me your text in Word format with your contact details and I will send you an offer as soon as possible.
Proofreading
Would you like to have your text checked by a “native speaker”? I am happy to proofread and correct your texts (English, German or Spanish) and check grammar, spelling and punctuation.
Prices for proofreading start at €38,00/hour.
